Penjelasan:

Postingan mengklaim bahwa saat aksi 4 November 2016 polisi menembakkan amunisi gas air mata yang ternyata keluaran baru dari Perancis. Selain itu, klaim itu pun menyatakan bahwa peserta aksi 4 November 2016 dijadikan target ujicoba peluru tersebut.

Faktanya, peluru yang ada di postingan tersebut bukanlah peluru gas airmata, melainkan peluru karet. Peluru itu pada intinya digunakan untuk menertibkan kericuhan yang terjadi, baik itu dalam aksi demonstrasi maupun aksi lainnya.

Peluru tersebut berjenis CS 44 MM Multiple Projectile Ammunition yang masuk klasifikasi multiple projectile ammunition/bullet. Pengertian dari multiple projectile ammunition/bullets yakni peluru yang memiliki banyak projektil di dalamnya. Jadi, ketika ditembakkan, peluru ini akan mengeluarkan beberapa projektil kepada sasaran. Projektil itu bisa berupa projektil tajam ataupun projektil karet yang tidak berbahaya. Berikut kutipan mengenai definisi dari multiple projectile ammunition/bullet:

Peluru tersebut, menurut data Google Patent, dipatenkan pada 14 Maret 2011 di Amerika Serikat. Jadi, bila dikatakan peluru tersebut baru dan peserta aksi 4 November 2016 sebagai target uji coba tidak benar.

Adapun, peluru itu sudah lumrah digunakan di beberapa negara, seperti Perancis, Makau, dan Portugis. Akan tetapi, informasi mengenai pasukan Israel menggunakannya sebagai amunisi menembaki rakyat Palestina tidak ditemukan. Dengan demikian, klaim bahwa peluru itu digunakan tentara Israel tidak tepat. Berdasarkan penelusuran tersebut, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa informasi ini merupakan berita hoax yang menghasut.
